Phone maker Xiaomi flags rising costs of chips, shares fall

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi flagged on Wednesday rising costs from a global chip shortage and reported quarterly revenue below market estimates, even as its international business head jumped ship to TikTok owner ByteDance.
