CV S Health Corporation (CVS) has more than 9,900 retail locations with nearly 77% of revenues coming from pharmacy and 23% from front store categories such as over-the-counter drugs, and consumer health, beauty and personal care products. A key driver in the success of the retail segment is the loyalty program which boasts 74 million members who are provided with a variety of rewards, automatic sales prices, and customized coupons. The CVS retail segment (including front store and pharmacy) represents 34% of CVS total revenue and 38% of the total company profits. CVS retail was up 5.3% compared to CVS Health Corporation which posted an increase of 4.6% for 2020.
