In Alabama, the fight for the worker’s rights continues and if won, there is a chance that others will follow. Amazon wants to block out an effort for a union at their warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama by gathering enough votes for this purpose. They were able to gather 1700 votes against the 700 voters who opted for forming a union that is far beyond the required threshold. The NLRB (National Labor Relations Board) oversees this process.
